SNOWBANK WHITE
BLACKBERRY PLANTS
DESCRIPTION
SNOWBANK WHITE BLACKBERRY PLANTS produce snow white berries that are milky-white in color but have all the flavor of a “normal” blackberry. The drupelets look like tiny pearls and are simply beautiful little fruits. The berries stay whiter than other similar varieties as the berries ripen, and with much better flavor. Known for their one of a kind color and their remarkable sweetness. Being white, they lack the dark juice to stain fingers, clothes, and tongues. The canes have thorns but are cold tolerant and disease resistant. Released in 1916 by famous plant breeder, Luther Burbank as an improved form of his original white blackberry, the ‘Iceberg’. Today, they are rare but making a comeback. They are very unique and will be a talking point in your yard or garden.
